Stella Artois World Draught Master

The Stella Artois® Gold Standard Programme

Stella Artois® is proud of its heritage, tracing our roots back as far as 1366 and still brewed in the Belgian town of Leuven.  To this day, our constant attention to detail delivers consistent quality from the very first stage of brewing process right through to the unique Belgian pouring ritual.

It is this ritual that defines the perfect method of serving Stella Artois® and has given the platform from which has evolved the Gold Standard Programme.  This global benchmarking and incentive programme has been created to ensure the ultimate quality drinking experience to each of our customers.

The Gold Standard Programme is unique to Stella Artois® which is an established and proven campaign that brings the highest of standards to customers in outlets that can prove themselves, year after year, as worthy of the accolade and title of Stella Artois® Gold Standard Establishment.

Stella Artois® World Draught Master

Originating in 1997, the Stella Artois® World Draught master Championship assembles the best bartenders from around the world to rate their tapping, bottle-pouring skills, and table-serving protocol.

These are 9-steps to pouring a Stella Artois®. To pour it perfectly, you must master them all.

The Stella Artois® World Draught Masters Championship is an annual event where over 30 bartenders come together all over the world and compete to pour the perfect Stella Artois®, thus proving themselves ‘Créateurs de Beauté’.

The World Draught Master becomes the global ambassador for the art of pouring a perfect Stella Artois® and gets to travel around the world to teach people the secrets of the 9-step pouring ritual.
